Crossing Boundaries Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to existing Christian ministries in Kenya, supporting new ministries that spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in Kenya, and providing humanitarian assistance for people suffering from lack of water, food, and education.
The primary missions of the organization are providing water wells, Bibles and training materials for local pastors, supporting orphans, street kids and orphanages, and other means of improving the lives of Kenyans. Emerson and Velda Rickstrew founded Crossing Boundaries in 2006 and they see this ministry as their call from God to expand His Kingdom.

Sanitary Kits
Here are a few donation suggestions considering the greatest needs in the villages we serve:
Sanitary Kit for A Young Girl - $15
These kits include 6 reusable sanitary pads, soap, lotion, 2 pairs of underwear and a face towel.
Sanitary Kits for 10 Girls - $150
Provide a sanitary kit for 10 young women in Kenya.
Sanitary Kits for 20 Girls - $300
Provide a sanitary kit for 20 young women in Kenya.
Sewing School Scholarships
We need sponsors for scholarships for sewing students. Our tuition is very inexpensive, but there are some that just don't have the means to enroll in the classes.
Monthly School Tuition- $10
The students are asked to pay 1,000 schillings per month, which is the equivalent of $10.
Full Semester Tuition- $60
Our semesters are 6 months long, and full tuition coverage is the equivalent of $60.
Sewing machines
Help us provide the necessary sewing machines for our schools.
Treadle Sewing Machine - $200
This provides a basic treadle sewing machine which are used to make the sanitary kits.
Commercial Sewing Machine- $350
This provides a commercial machine which are needed to make school uniforms and other items that require heavier stitching.
As a part of our education process, our goal is to reward students for their commitment to excellence. If a student performs well in a 6 month session of classes, we will present the best students with their own treadle sewing machine.
